We have reserved a block of rooms at The Embassy Row Hotel . The hotel is located in the Dupont Circle area of downtown DC, close to lots of things to do, restaurants, and the Dupont Circle metro station.

It is about a 10 minute drive to the wedding venue, but we plan to provide a shuttle for guests staying at the wedding hotels. Please note that the shuttle to the wedding venue will leave ONLY from the other wedding hotel - The Fairfax hotel.
Blocks of rooms have been reserved at two hotels located across the street from each other (the block at The Fairfax at Embassy Row has been filled, so remaining guests will be booked at The Embassy Row Hotel). Please see the Transportation page for more details and a map of the shuttle location.
ADDITIONAL BOOKING INFORMATION:
When reserving via phone, please be sure to identify yourself as part of the IHO Kemp-Schlags Wedding group, and provide the hotel with the guest name, requested type of room, requested bed type (i.e. king or double), and check-in and check-out dates.
Please note that the online link is only good for booking on the Friday and Saturday of the wedding weekend (10/14 and 10/15). However, the hotel will honor our rates 2 days pre or post. To book additional days on either side of the weekend, you MUST call the hotel directly (855-893-1011).
If you have any issue with booking through the link (for example, if it tells you the type of room you've selected is sold out) please call the hotel reservation coordinator directly (855-893-1011) and they will be able to complete your booking over the phone.
Please note that the block at the Fairfax at Embassy Row has been filled and is no longer taking reservations. Guests should book at the Embassy Row Hotel. The two hotels are located across the street from each other.
